I'm back!

Well, I've akshully been back from my trip for just over a week, and have already returned to working on the game, just that this is the official end of my vacation. Soooo... yeah, I'm back!

No actual release today, but next week we'll resume regular schedule and the next public release will be on the 29th.

So to catch up on the recent issues with Twine, I have gone ahead and split Eric and Jamie off into their own little sub-branches. They'll match version numbers...

Vacay time

Hey guys, today begins my one month vacation from Deviousness. I'll be returning mid-march sometime and resuming the regular schedule, most likely. For now I need to recharge my batteries, rest up, and hopefully come back again strong and reenergized. Thus once I post this message I'll be heading over to the settings to suspend this month's charge.

Hey everyone, this week we've got a new character! With Defiance finally getting some development over the last few months, I decided it would be good for her to have a male counterpart. I'd been considering concepts, and this one hit with enough interest that I decided to give it a go: Backlash.

Twine problems

It was brought to my attention that Eric's paths aren't working on the latest public release. Having messed around with Twine a bit it's definitely having a problem incorporating Eric's file properly, and having other issues as well. I'll continue to work on the issue later or may be forced to come up with some other workaround. I may, in the future, start having to consider the idea of giving each of the major Devious characters their own build separate of the others, which is mildly annoyin...

Public release on Halloween

I think I've said before how much I deeply despise it when the first is on a Wednesday?

Anyway I've decided that for optimum results, I'll skip this week's incremental, do the public release sometime in the morning of the 31st, and do the next incremental on the 10th. This should hopefully mean a slightly beefier public release and a beefier first incremental in November. (Mmm, beefy.)

As you can probably judge, this is what the last month or so has been like trying to work... trying to find new angles to get something going, and then a failure to launch when following through to get to the lewds. I've had various bits of inspiration, but actually getting them coalesced has proven effectively impo...

As a reminder, I paused the billing for this month. Now I have still been trying to work, and have eked out a little bit here and there, but it hasn't really amounted to anything worth doing a public release over.
