Weekly Progress Report (March 13th 2020)

D:BB - Moving along here!  Got all the renders for the hunt part finished, along with enemy renders, stats and such, and emailed it all to Impresario.  Now, be aware, this next update COULD (not saying that it will, but could) run longer than usual.  The reason is that we are nearing the conclusion of D:BB!  That means, a lot of extra work for our friend, Impresario!

Poll less story in content

 This is one of two polls I am holding after a conversation in Discord.  They said that I should have polls regarding what they were talking about.

One thing that I was told is that I should have less in-depth stories, characters, and lore, and instead, just have a parade of long Bad Ends in my interactive novels.   Basically, they say that story is not really important, just the transformation/corruption scenes are.

Length of time on project updates

This is one of two polls I am holding after a conversation in Discord.  They said that I should have polls regarding what they were talking about.

One thing that I was told is that I should draw out updates, so, as an example, on monster hunts and BE's, I should release only one monster per week, rather than a monster hunt all at once.

Weekly Progress Report (January 30th 2020)

D:BB - I am working hard to have a complete and full release drop for my $30 and up patrons sometime next week!  From there it shall trickle down to $5 and up patrons.  Just as a reminder, it will have a workaround for the slowdown/lag that most of us have encountered due to shear size of this project.  I am currently rendering the Bad Ends, Impresario will be fixing up the Graveyard Hunt soon, i think, and then I shall write everything and release.

News about upcoming D:BB release

Impresario told me that he *thinks* that he may have time to do the Asylum Hunt's programming tomorrow (Thurs).  So, I will hold back on the release by a day or two, because that way I can share the complete experience with you!  I mentioned it in Discord chat, and the feedback was that patrons are ok with waiting an extra day or two for the full release.

If I hear from him that he won't be able to do it, then, I'll release it with a BE menu and no hunt.

SB:C back in development!

My old friend, BlankSubroutine, has committed to programming SB:C!  So it is no longer under hiatus.  Unlike while working with Isaac, where I wanted the whole thing programmed and then share it, we will be doing alpha builds within every two months like I do with my novels.  The public, as with my novels, will always be one full build behind.  But, I wanted to get the word out to my fans and investors, SB:C is back!

D:BB - Progress for the next release has been going well, and I have finished Brone's renders.  The next chapter, as you can see here, shows more rooms of the vampire lair and will even introduce a new character.  So, it has taken a while since I had to build new things again, but they turned out well, as you can see!  I should have Abby's finished up in a day or two.  With any luck I could have the next chapters circulating early next week!

So as of tonight, you can all play through til the end of the Docks!  There may still be bugs and typos, so please let me know in the Discord bugs section if you find anything.  I played through it 3 times to make sure that I could.  For those that already read Ch 11 and 12, I also added a skip and for all of you I added a gold cheat at the end of Ch 12 so that when you go to hunt you can buy everything you'll need.  Should make testing easier!  As always, thank you f...

I did finally heard back from Isaac today.  He alleges that the game was deleted by his brother (or most of the game from what I can tell) and that he saw my messages to him that I have been sending the past week, but because he is depressed he opted to ignore them.  I asked him just after noon today how much of the game was still in existence and that I would just post what I could; however, though it has shown him active on Discord all day, he has not answered me these last 9 hour...

FLASH POLL! NEED INPUT FOR DOCKS!

I finished all the renders yesterday for the Docks BE's, but today as I started making them, I found myself having to decide between two ways of doing it.  As you can see in the picture.  Do I do A or B?  Should I make the Bad Ends underwater realistic (A) as I am known for or easier to see (B)?  (See attached JPG file)
