So, behind the scenes, you patrons have been testing the Battle Phase and I received a lot of public and private feedback. After talking to many different people and specifically both the programmer on duty and another programming fan who specializes in Python coding, there is really no way to make the animations in Ren'py much faster. I have been testing a code addition that allows users to go p to double the speed, and it is still very slow.
