Still no update, I know, but I have challenged myself to actually get this shit done by next weekend. How ambitious of a claim that is is hard to tell, in terms what is still missing: side convos in the mines, meeting the boss of the Forge (maybe some extra smithing minigame to earn gold, but I won't delay the update for this), getting eaten at all the gambling options, some random NPCs to talk to in the casino (not sure how in depth I'll make those, but always possible to expand in the futur...

So I got sick... Which annoys me greatly since I struggle to think, let alone write competent dialogue. I wanted to get some big progress this weekend, I ended up spending most of it on a single event... A bigger one with bunch of alternatives based on choices, but still mostly just one event... That said, I have also finally set up the roulette into a somewhat simplified functional state. Basically it works like a normal Roulette, the only difference is that you can bid only on one spot each spin. Seems like I was too tired yesterday and forgot to post a progress report. I have added some extra flavour events to the forge to make it look more lively as we slowly make our way to completion. I have also actually did some measuring and simple math and it seems that writing and inserting one scene takes me about 3 hours and I have about 25 scenes left to add, so simple math tells us that I have about 75 hours of work or a little bit over 3 days of work left. Who would guess that adding alternative routes would add exponentially more work for me... But hey, that's what we're here for, at least I hope some of you are, the choices. The moving part is finally over. It took a lot longer than I expected, but I am now pretty much settled and functional again, so I can resume my work on the game. Sadly the time flew by faster than anticipated, so I am not certain of the end of January release date, but I will do my best to keep it as close as possible and of course will keep y'all updated on the progress weekly again.

Just a little heads up that I've recently gotten sick so the progress might get slower in the foreseeable future. That said, I am still trying to work on stuff wherever I can. More stuff going on, I'm just slowly but surely populating the town with NPCs you can interact with and I might or might not be going a bit overboard with it? By that I mean that all the current NPCs have pics and therefore are edible in some way. Alright, thank you all for voicing your opinions in the poll last week, it's a great help at knowing what to focus on more in the future. For now, enjoy a little sneak peak of some of the new characters you will be able to meet in the next update. The new area will be divided into 3 areas, each focusing on a different way of life.
