Hopefully it's clear that I'm putting a lot of time into the commissions that I do to make them as good as possible, however I've not been able to deliver on doujinshi content at the same time. So I've been working hard on Page 11 of the doujinshi trying to come up with ideas and honestly, I'm having a bit of a mental block on how to lay out the page. So in the meantime I did a sketch of Benten from Urusei Yatsura (which is a really good anime by the way, totally recommend checking it out if you like Ranma, or comedy or romance). My first drawing after way too long is Eiko Megami (Ako Project). She's from an 80s movie series called Project Ako. If you haven't seen it, try and check it out because its one of the pioneer anime of the late 80s. Basically its an anime involving 3 girls in a fight inside a school, in a city, over the skies, inside spaceships, on other planets and more. It's so good. I've had a really, really horrible week. I've been dealing with some awful stomach pain since Monday. It's had me bed bound and feeling really severe pain all this time. Not really an explicit drawing, more of a couple in love.
I haven't drawn Gohan since I was a kid and well, he used to be my favorite character. Who knew I would grow up to draw his big bum... hehe.

Update: So for some weird reason, the screentones are not appearing correctly on phones which is really frustrating. If the image looks wrong or distorted, please can you try looking at it on a computer? It's taken a long time to do this and it'll be disappointing if it looks like a mess. Thanks.

So I've started working towards turning yesterday's concept into a sketch now. I'm thinking about making it a portrait piece. Still the same idea with a cityscape etc, but I feel the verticality of it being portrait would help get more of that city into the frame.
