That ONE rat painting

I was convinced to redraw that one rat painting that's been going around as a meme. 

Back to the Dream Realm

I'm starting this back up again. I'm throwing the schedule out of the window and I'll just work on this when I have something to add to it. 

I'll mostly post this on Twitter and such until I can find a better place for it to keep a good archive. 

I won't release this in early access like I used to for scheduling reasons. I could make 5 pages a week, or I could make 1 every three months. This will be more of a personal project from here on. 

Reggie Cake

It's my birthday today and I drew a Reggie.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone for their support. Because of you I have little worry over having a roof over my head and food to eat. Thank you for enjoying all of the gay mice and the other 5% of the things I draw. I would not be here today if it weren't for all of you.

SFW Animation Suggestions

After some consideration I've decided to make the animation geared more towards SFW. It can still be a little suggestive, but it's not going to be explicit. 

With that in mind, I'll take some more suggestions and add those to the poll. 

Also, I will be making new characters for the animation based on the winning theme.

Further Comic Update

The plan now is to make the current comic much shorter than originally planned. My biggest issue is working on projects for a prolonged amount of time. My motivation for ideas dwindle the longer I work on them and I start getting distracted with new ideas that I want to work on. So I am cutting back on the length of the comic from the planned 15+ pages to about 5-6. This will allow me to put my best effort into each page before my dwindling focus forces me to start a new project before it is ...

Comic Update

I've been trying to work on the next few pages of the comic and to be honest, I'm having a hard time. I haven't been happy with how the pages are turning out and there are quite a few things I want to change about them. So after some more concept drawing and figuring things out I'm going to restart the comic so I'm happier with it. I'll keep the other pages up because they are finished work, and I'll be back soon with the revamped version.

Animation Practice

When I usually animate I use onion skin which shows me the next and previous layer as I animate. For this one I tried the old fashioned method of flipping through the pages (layers) and drawing each frame by eye. While I'm working on the current comic I'll be doing a couple of these sketch animations to get used to the old fashioned method a bit more. I think it helps me more than the onion skin but I could definitely use some practice with it.

Usually I make comics a two week early access thing, but for this one I want to try to make it a full month of early access, releasing the lower resolution pages in May.

Some quick doodles

I'm back a little prematurely. I've been working on staying off of the internet this last week and so far it's been mixed results. I've been locking my electronics away and trying to figure out what else to do with my time. I've been reading and writing more and basically have the comic all ready to draw out. I've also taken small bits of time to bring out the laptop to draw with the Wifi unplugged so I get used to working in silence. Working with background music is fine, but not when you're...

New comic in the works

I'm gonna be taking the next two weeks to work on an idea for a comic. During these two weeks I'll be offline so I can get a handle on my phone/internet addiction as it is starting to affect my workflow. 

I'll be back near the end of the month with some sketches and concepts for the comic, then I'll get started right on it with about 3+ full resolution pages a week which will be early access for the full month of April, being released publicly in lower quality in May.

Alone

And it's the return of the Elemental! I might do an animation with these two next week. 

For now I'm gonna shift the comic to Evelyn's perspective for a bit. Gotta include ALL the characters, can't just be about Reggie the entire time!
