Delos Meet Up in Stockholm!- June 10th

Hello Delos Tribe!  We sorted out a very cool place in Stockholm to have a little event on our way to Svalbard :) It's at the Vikingarnas Segel Sällskap in Djurgården June 10th, at 15:00 local time.  We will do a short presentation, Q & A, and share a few beers afterwards.

Lizbeth's last day on Delos!….for now! - Sailing Vessel Delos Ep. 173

Lisa did an incredible job putting together this beautiful and a bit sad episode! The time has come for Lizbeth to say goodbye to Delos and start her new adventure in France. But before she leaves we have a great last Delos party as a family of six! Loads of laughs, Caipirinhas, singing and some naked swimming in the dark. Then it was time to say the sad goodbye. Wow Liz it has been a fantastic 6 month, 5000NM and 5 counties together! We Love you!!

This has to be one of my favorite episodes!  It was so much fun working with Kiril and editing this 40 mins! Yep, 40 MINUTES!

Hey Tribe!!  Thank you so much for all the interest in this, all in all we had 45 "Heck Yeah's" which is truly amazing that so many would travel to Grenada on short notice for the love of sailing.  Too cool!  The good news is Chris from LTD contacted us and said one of their guests cancelled so he offered up one more cabin at the same deal.  We told him "Heck Yeah" so we actually picked 2 winners :)

Scuba Diving with a 360 Camera at Ascension Island- Sailing Vessel Delos

This is our first attempt SCUBA Diving with a 360 camera, so grab your VR headset or favorite 360 capable device (like a phone or pad) and give it a look.  Be sure to pan and look around because a few times the sharks swim right by the camera :)  The quality is okay, but we hope to continually improve like always.  It was done with a Nikon KeyMission camera at Botswain's Bird Island in Ascension.   Fair Winds, Peace, and Love from the Oceans of the world. Ever wondered how it feels to breath under water for the first time??  In this episode Lisa and Liz get to experience just this feeling, as Mr. Brady teaches them how to scuba dive…  Delos Style :) A lot of personality and goodness in this episode as Brian rallies the troops to clean the filth off Delos and we struggle to go ashore as the swell has gotten huge in the last 2 days just as we are preparing to leave for Brazil!

Secret dive spot?  Possible shark encounter?  Yep!  We're in :)  After hearing about a secret dive spot on the other side of Ascension Island we pull up the hook and take Delos out for an exploratory dive mission.  We end up at a place called Bird Island by the locals, and for very good reason.  Pretty soon we find ourselves anchored in one of the most incredibley beautiful places we have ever been.  And right on top of a Galapagos shark nursery!  How cool...
