Oh man this was such a blast!  I can't believe we talked for 2 hours!!!! You guys had some really great questions and thanks for making it happen :)

We'd like to do it again at some point, maybe this time more "Topic Focused" and do it more often.  We could focus on areas like Provisioning, Boat Maint, Nav Electronics, etc.  If you have any ideas for TOPICS like this put them below in the comments so we can start thinking about it.

Sailing the Roaring 40s in 30 foot Waves! Sailing SV Delos Ep. 107

Wow guys, this was an epic sail and we're so excited for you to be the first to see it :)  

In this episode we sail through the roaring 40s and it was crazy! Definitely the most intense part of our 3000NM passage from South Africa to La Reunion. We had wind speeds of over 50kn, 23–32ft (7–10m) waves and in the middle of everything our autopilot breaks and it’s hand steering from now on!

It’s not for everyone! Sailing the Southern Indian Ocean- SV Delos Ep. 106

We loose sight of land as we turn east across the strong Agulhas Current, Sailing into the big Southern Indian Ocean! A rough sea unchecked by any land, and we felt it! Struggling to keep our food down Delos starts taking in water through the bow thruster and that’s not our only water leak :(

This rough weather really made us appreciate the small things in life like being able to put a glass down without it flying away or taking a shower for the first time in 7 days! This was an epic episode...

St. Brandon Shoals was a very special place for us! Crystal clear water, endless beaches, and we had the whole entire place to ourselves!

Sailing into City Life! Summer in Cape Town, South Africa! Ep. 104

We spent 4 months exploring this epic Cape Town which turned out to be by far my favorite summer city! At this point we’d been moving constantly for over 13 months and where more than ready to taste the city life again. And it was cheap too! The exchange rate gave us a really sweet deal. So guess what we did after months out on the water? Sat in the air-conditioned movie theater snacking on popcorn, took long hot showers, ate bacon for breakfast and climbed mountains!

After sailing around Cap’d Ambre, the northern-most cape of Madagascar we found this calm, protected anchorage. It gave us a nice rest after the wicked sail around the cape and we were able to fly the drone.

Sailing on the Cheap in Madagascar- SV Delos Ep. 97

I really had a lot of fun editing this video!  Madagsascar is an incredible place to sail and explore and we enjoyed our time there so much.  Obviously :)  In this one I tried to give a vibe of some of the daily chores we do.  How we fix things, how we shop, and of course some sailing action where we won the Nosy Be Regatta!  And of course how cheap you can live if you do things yourself.  Good times!
