Things have been hectic recently and I keep getting ideas for a ton of other drawings and I'm also still between jobs so finding the time to do these is tough but I'm working out the kinks! I'll try to have the next 2-3 pages dedicated to the actual expansion!

This piece didn't really need to be redrawn, but I kinda just wanted to do it anyways. I wanted to practice shading and using colored lines for characters and I felt this one would work. I also am still in a big berry mood so I made some alts. The original is at the end!

This was also lowkey a showcase of the different ways to get berried: Jess is eating blueberry pies, Rose is getting tube-fed concentrated berry juice, and Blake is chewing the special gum.

Bad Roomates (Trope Talk #3)

Another berry trope I see  often is the "Don't eat my pie" sticky note stuck on the fridge or the plate, next to one of the best looking slices in the world. Of course the culprit(victim?) ends up berried, but that just opens up more questions. 

Did the person who left the pie in the fridge know it would do that? If they did, were they going to eat it for themselves and end up the same way? Maybe they're immune to getting inflated, or maybe the toxic energy of eating your frie...

Usually they're wrought with warning labels and specific instructions that are almost impossible to follow even if you somehow didn't notice them.

Bad Dialogue (Trope Talk #1)

I've started a comic series about recurring tropes I see in the expansion fetish community. This one centers around how a lot of people will kinda just regurgitate dialogue from the movies in their art. Sometimes it works, it often doesn't for me anymore. 

Also my comic styles are very inconsistent which you will see as I continue to upload old stuff lol

Coming Up Next!

I finally got started properly sketching and laying out my Daisy comic. It's been a ton of fun so far! The first few pages will be a little slow but at around page 3-4 it'll start picking up with the expansion so stay tuned!

I'll post the sketches of the first couple of pages for all tiers but after that they'll be exclusive to the last two. I'm trying really hard to make this worthwhile for everyone that chose to support me! Thank you all so much :)

I'm gonna make another long animation and this'll be the main bit of it. Rose keeps being annoying about her newfound skinniness so Blake and Jess spike her drink with some berry stuff.

I'm just trying to find ways to give the characters voices. Text boxes for sure but I hate that I'm considering using AI voices alongside it. I just wanna make sure they're ethically sourced but knowing the state of AI right now it's unlikely

A glimpse into my sketching process

This is gonna be a short joke comic but I do really simplified shapes and lines when I sketch things out. I want to get better at this part of the artistic process though. Maybe I should use thinner lines. 

As you can see I don't always stay 'on model' for sketches because I try to go more for a general vibe on the first pass than I do when I'm cleaning it up.

Mario Day!

I think somehow my post from before got deleted so here's a reupload! I actually really like drawing them like this. I might do more. Mario isn't a common character I see represented in fat art because of his reputation but I think this works perfectly. I also liked testing out a slightly new style with this piece
