Taki pin-ups + Animation wip

Animation looks kinda rough right now. The whole pose is pretty complicated. How does it look so far to you?

I have another flexible pose in mind, but it requires a prop and I can't figure out what prop to use.
Basically I need something to put Taki's feet on that's about half her height, can you think of something that would fit SoulCalibur's aesthetic? I guess a barrel/crate or something, but that's kinda lame.

You know what saddens me a lot?
Soulcalibur models are so bad compared to other figting games. From the technical viewpoint of course, they are just way lower quality compared to like street fighter or doa (even kof14). Way lower polygon count and texture resolution.

Anyways, here is Taki, what do you think?
As usual tell me if you want anything changed.
I might change her breasts shape, they are kinda generic, tell me if I should or not.

This was a pain in the ass to make.
Getting the body texture color to match Rinoa's head texture took me like 5 tries. I re-did her body twice, cause it didn't look good, at first she was super skinny - I tried to match her model as close as possible, but it just didn't look right.

The biggest problem was Tifa's model though or rather her rig, it just doesn't want to behave right for me, it's too laggy/my pc is too weak or something.
This model is not mine, so I don't really know...

Honoka - "Dreamy" set

Sorry I forgot to turn off the pubic hair, I'll turn it off for the next render.
I am using just a texture here, before I used a mesh, but the huge ones I got look kinda gross, so I decided not to use it, sorry pubic hair fans.

I rendered during the day on monday, that's why it came out a little earlier than I said it would.

Sorry but Marie's animation will come out a little later.
My cpu fan died yesterday, I got a replacement today already, so it's all good.
Just everything got delayed by a day.

I re-did Julia's body a bit. She's thinner overall, but not too much.
Changed her textures, are they better? I also made the nipples more pink.
I am using a more neutral lighting setup, it's just white light, so it's better to actually judge how her skin looks.

Marie Rose animation update

This looks a lot worse in low graphics, because of the way the lighting works in this engine.
Some of the lights are coming from some of the panels on the walls and they just don't show up here. The eyes and womb tattoo work similarly to the panels, they will show up better in the final render.
I included the cycles render pics of the first and the middle frames for comparison.

What do you think about the animation? I think all that's left to do is polish the breasts jiggle.

A pretty rough one for now.

The dynamic tattoo light up looks pretty bad if it's so fast right? I'll test it some more, maybe I could just have it light up stronger at some point during the animation, maybe combined with a facial expression it could look cool.

The lighting's pretty bad - you can't really see the couch, it's too dark, will need to re-do it.

Marie Rose pin-ups

Kinda went crazy with the lighting.
Honestly feel like they look very well(at least the first two). I don't know if it's the new textures or the aggressive lighting, but overall I really like how they turned out.

What do you think about the heart eyes(what's the correct term for that? heart-pupils?) and the womb tattoo?
I will be dropping the tan for the animation, but I will keep the womb tattoo, I want to make it glow dynamically with thrusts, not sure if it will look good, but ...

Honestly I feel like a fool for not finding out about them sooner.
They are way more detailed and realistic looking.
I made comparison screenshots on a curvier body (Honoka's) for you.
It's also way easier to change the nipple color with these textures.

Leona animation update final

Pretty much completely done with this. Added a blush and some props.
Maybe I'll change the lighting a little.

The render time will be about 18 hours. So here is how I am going to do this.
I will be rendering this animation at night, while during the day/evening I'll be speedrunning Marie, I'll make her model and try to make a quick animation or at least some pics.
The Leona animation will be probably released on the weekend.

Low graphics render. Techically it's not "low", it's possible to make it look good. I tried by adding subsurface scattering, it's the effect of light passing through the skin, making stuff more realistic looking. I can't really use it in "high" graphics, my pc is too weak for that, the render times would get extremely huge. Also with this effect it looks like her nails are blue/green, they are actually not.

I changed her body a little, toned down the muscles slightly and changed the breasts a little.   Also changed her hair color, do you like it?

I want to try a little test.
I always do post-processing on images and animations that I render, but sometimes I feel like post-processing makes the picture worse.
So this time I am just posting the original renders. I am still going to do post-processing, just a little later, so that you can compare and tell me if it made it worse...
