Why does it always start at the Nose?

So unless I do cuts or something, I'm going to have to start over on this one. 

But don't sweat it. That was kind of the plan, given this was just a test of the rig so far & its parts. I think it's a solid first pass, but the chewing feels a little too subtle. Also, the gif compression makes the nose & mouth get lost as she grows bluer. They're on multiply layers over top. Previews of it on the timeline look fine, but the colors it kicks out at, they get lost.

I spent more than I should have yesterday morning organizing things here, & kind of wanted to talk about it, but quite honestly, I felt bad making a post like that without something of substance, so please enjoy some assorted sketches of things looming in my WIP folder. Mostly experimenting with varying shapes & angles. Some are closer to completion than others, some are recent, some are a bit older. But these were some of my favorites I thought it’d be okay to share.

Variant Rollout

Just because I appreciate you all so much, I decided to do not one but two separate blueberry variants, one a fair bit juicier than the other, but each with their own unique dialogue. AND an added cream version, if you're partial to that sort of thing. And then versions with no text of each of those. And then full res versions of each of those.

On the one hand, it feels a little lazy, but on the other? I kind of find it a fun exercise, taking these & thinking up another scenario on ...

Just a "quick" WG variant of yesterday's. I have another palette swap with a slightly paler flesh tone & considered doing a cream inflation version too, but the difference is so minimal.

Fitting the text to the same space (as not to readjust the entire layout) & grabbing other thumbnails to throw up top took a bit more time than expected but I like the result. And her new zero fucks attitude honestly. Loving to eat first & foremost, consequences be damned.

A Little Cozier

Almost attached this to that last image with the girl chubbing up a bit to be “cozy.” But this is an older speedpaint I was experimenting with. From months ago. It was another “cozy” themed thing & she’s a blond with a beanie too. I liked the bulge-iness of her shape but the outfit & things like the eyes were getting too goofy for me.
