MalOvent v0.1 coming soon!

We're in the final stages of development for v0.1! As part of this process, I've pulled the list of all active Patrons as of 10:30 PM GMT-4 tonight. This will be the initial patron credits list for MalOvent. If you upgrade your tier or someone new becomes a Patron, I'll adjust those credits accordingly. Like with F@FF, I consider even one month's payment enough to be included in the list. This is simply the baseline!

Early April 2024 Update

Before you wonder: No, this blog post isn't an April Fools joke.

On the F@FF front, we're still working on art and translations for the v0.4.0 update. As I've said previously, the bulk of the art will be in Insert CGs for all the endings. Some of those CGs will then be animated, but not every CG. If you haven't already seen the news about Nu-Frenni, you can check her out here!

Nu-Frenni Sprites are here!

Patrons have been getting teasers about Nu-Frenni for weeks now, and finally the sprite sheet is done and ready to be shared with the general public! Omegatherio really outdid themselves this time! :D

Mid March 2024 Update

Hello all! Another update coming at you!

As of a few minutes ago, I finished testing nearly all of the code up until the endings and the epilogue for F@FF. Overall there's 6 endings, two of which share the same epilogue (albeit with different scenes) and one that redirects to another depending on the sex of the MC. Early March 2024 Update

Hello all! Another update coming at you!

Work has begun on the v0.4.0 update of F@FF. As of this blog post there's just Day 12, Night 13, Day 13, Night 14, and the Epilogue remaining for me to write. I anticipate that I will finish mid-late March at my current speed, at which point we'll once again be waiting on art and translations to come in. I'll make sure to share certain bits of artwork here and there, so if you want to see behind the scenes make sure you're at the proper tier!

400k View/100k Download Hype + Mid February Dev Log

Hello everyone! I hope you all have been enjoying the v0.3.1 release of A Fortnight at Frenni Fazclaire's! We've hit several new milestones with this release, including over 400k views and 100k downloads as of this blog post. Mid January 2024 Update

Hello all! Another update coming at you!

On the art front, we're 1 background and 1 CG away from being "feature complete" for v0.3.0. The idea is that we'll continue to work on optional/extra art such as French Maid Fexa while waiting on the translations to finish. This includes adding animation to the existing H-Scene CGs.

Early December 2023 Update

Hello all! Time for another quick update.

We're still waiting on art and translations to come in before v0.3.0 can be released. On the art front, 1 out of 2 new H-scenes has been completed. There's over 20 new sprites we want to try and add to the game, including an entirely new character, so give us some time! The translations are at varying stages of development. I still anticipate the next release will be in 2024 unless things change during the month!

Mid November 2023 Update

Hello all! Quick update here on my end.

In short, the script and coding for v0.3.0 has been completed! At this point we are waiting on art and translations to come in. I still anticipate the next release will be 2024. Should that change I'll let you know!

Also, if you haven't heard/seen already, we now have a near-complete original soundtrack thanks to DJLC. We kept the main menu music and the ambient stuff, but overall everything's got a new spin including the insert performances...

The v0.2.0 update is coming soon!

With the completion of both the Spanish and Russian translations, plus Lexy's sprites, we're four backgrounds away from having everything we need for the release of v0.2.0! The tentative date for the Patron release is October 17th. The general public will receive the game on Halloween (Oct 31st). As always, this date is subject to change should we run into any problems finishing the art or if we find major, game-breaking bugs.

September General Update

Hi all! I wanted to give everyone an update on where things are at with the next version, v0.2.0:

  • The Russian translators are super busy at the moment, so their progress has slowed
  • The Spanish translator is about halfway done
  • Colored versions of Lexy the Shark's sprites are up next in the art queue
  • After Lexy is done, all we're waiting on is a few backgrounds and the translations to be finished for v0.2.0
