I usually struggle to reach the 1,000 photo/video mark on phones. But that was simply not the case with the iPhone 16 Pro. And that is mostly due to the fact that I took a whole three weeks to make this video compared the single week I would get while working at The Verge.

I actually started filming this video last spring, while still at The Verge. At that time I was looking for personal content that I could make without work telling me I had to take it down. And an old iPod seemed perfect: it wasn't new tech, wasn't in the news cycle. Heck, it was released before The Verge was even founded!
