I know this isn't probably what most people were hoping for when they saw a new Patreon post show up in their feed, and I apologize. The story is actually beginning to come to a close now....and it's starting to end on a rather depressing note that even catches Laruk off-guard.
But! The story is not over quite yet, and neither is Bakudo's time spent in the story. There's still much more for Laruk to learn, even if she now better understands just how different these wolves are.

For one thing I completely misunderstood where the story was going for one of the plots. And the other one is so full of racial insensitivities that only South Park could acceptably release for the world to see.
This episode definitely took twists and turns I didn't see coming, somehow Butters once again gets roped into one of Cartman's nonsensical plans, and 2008 was quite a strange year wasn't it?

This page was a smidge of a struggle! I need to get better at judging the space needed for certain amounts of text; here, I think I overestimated the space given the text/dialogue I had planned.
Still, it worked out pretty well in the end! Storytime right now just means that the dialogue is more the focus, so bigger walls of text aren't the worst thing right now. Especially when Laruk hears about the very subjects of the story and how Amarok and Fenris came to be.

Oh wow, what an exciting page!
Well, for lots of dialogue and storytelling perhaps. And in some dark ways too.
This was probably one of the easiest pages to draw in recent memory. I believe I mentioned that the previous page was easy to draw, and this one was even easier. I love it when backgrounds are simple.
And putting in dialogue bubbles afterward makes it easier to worry less about all the little nitpicky details with outlines!
