A comic and some sketches of the sci-fi DnD character I'm currently playing. Pierce is an undercover reporter playing the part of a soldier under his director (and roommate) Colt. Pierce secretly records everything he sees. He's been undercover in the seedy underbelly before and picked up some vices from his time there.
Also posting some older art I did to have em all in one place. I don't think I posted them here yet.

I was wanting to hold off sketching out more of my comic ideas until the other WIPs are done, but I've been working a lot on developing the characters and in that process I wrote out like 15+ comic outlines for them. I wanna get them down on paper while they are still somewhat fresh in my mind.

I've been considering giving Camila and Altan a bit of a redesign to work in more of Camila's "Magic User" vibes. She's going to be one of Bito's regular summoners to help tie some of these OCs together and so she can appear in Bito's Box Bash. I'm still going to further tweak the dress design but I like how it's going.
In addition to these sketches, I cleaned up some older OC doodles of Camila, Cali, and Spade. (and also the older design of Camila for comparison)

I was toying with some lore where maybe sizes are a bit flexible and kinda tied to how heated or how big of an ego a imp has lol. Get a imp really heated and they are going to be glowing bright

Some work done on one of the animations I sketched out back here. There are still some things I want to touch up, but the rig and main loop are in a polished state.
Some moodier light would be fun to mess with, though with GIFs I gotta watch the color palette limitations. I still will prob add some subtle shadows to the important bits lol.
Been a bit since I've drawn her, so it's time to give her another ride.

I've needed for a long time to make a proper height chart and style guide for all of these imps. And most of the characters could use some clean key art.
I've been tweaking a bit how I line and shade characters and I think I got to a good spot where it looks nice but can also be efficiently drawn.
Bigger does not always get on top.
