(AD FREE) Designing WITHOUT a Computer

Sure I'm trained in and use CAD software on a daily basis. And that would certainly be the most efficient way to put together a design. But sometimes it's nice to break away from the screen and draw something with your own two hands. Join me for a little reverse engineering project as I design a rotary table chuck adapter in the style of my lathe camlock mount.

(AD FREE) Restoring an Angle Plate

Amongst my grandfather's tooling I am always finding new stuff. Well, maybe "new" isn't the right word as a lot of things are either filthy or rusty from sitting unused for so long. But they are not a lost cause... There is still beauty underneath! Join me as I bring life back to this old cast iron angle plate AND put to to use!

(AD FREE) A Better Tool Post Nut

The lathe has always been my favorite machine, and while I love that is manual, there are some things that are a little too manual. Like the lock nut on the quick change tools post. (AD FREE) 3 Mill Upgrades (A Side Project Extravaganza)

For the first time ever, I've decided to do a video just on side projects. People seem to get a kick out of these and this lets me knock off some projects I may otherwise not get to. So it's a WIN-WIN! The projects all revolve loosely around 3 upgrades I've been itching to install on the mill, but as you will see, I get a little sidetracked.

(AD FREE) Making a Sine Plate (Part 1)

You probably noticed by now that I'm a bit of a perfectionist. And a while ago I made some collet blocks that are absolutely not up to my standards. I've been wanting to fix them for a while, but I need a very specific tool to be able to do that. So naturally, I made one. And of course way overdid the design. Here is Making a Sine Plate, Part One.
