The animation is rendering during nighttime, it had some artifacts I could not accept, so it was delayed. But it gave me the time to truly utilize the scene.

Ostara is well upon Himeheim, and the Himefulkians could not contain their excitement when the gentle warm winds brushed their skin for the first time in months.

Behind the Scenes - Drakefeller part 2 "Radiance"
There where many parts of this we had to find a solution to from scratch.
First was the eye glow effect.

Behind the Scenes - Drakefeller part 1
Here is a 3 part Behind the scenes from Lustgard on how we solved the animation.
It was the most complex scene I have ever done until now.
Everything that was in motion and needed to be invented was staggering.

We have had some trouble with the blender version. So took the time while we figure out these issues to sculpt on the evenings.
For a long time I envisioned the old families of the Himefulki practicing the fine art of sword combat. Honoring their ancestors and their legacy.

WIP - Azzetar Queen v2
Been working on our mysterious Azzetar Queen in between the sauna animation of Njorijanna.

The sauna for Himefulki is as a highly cherished invention, used throughout all seasons to an almost religious degree, often with a horn of mead. Decorative ornaments on this tiny hut, along with some birch branch is believed to help cleanse the body and soul.
Next up is the animation! The stage is all set and I can almost start rendering.

WIP day - Njorijanna progression & Sauna
Last minute edits to Njorijanna, her face got to a new level of realism thanks to better understanding of anatomy and help from the team!
Everything about her is improved, here is a shortened list with the highlights.
- Better lips + normals
- Improved eyeshape and shaders
- Brighter hair
- Another nose Job
- Vellushair improvement
- Stronger more defined eyebrows
- Forehead improvements
- Some improvements to hands also, mostly color and normals strength.

Welcome new and old to behind the scenes, here I will show you some of the work that went down into making the animation.
Finding the right pose took some time, we had a early draft from last year, but that needed some tweaking. Blender have had a ton of changes, and geo nodes was changed up 3 times since then. Yes, I used geometry nodes for the glitter uhm.. glitter on the dress. After some tinkering it looked good again.

It has been downtime that has lasted for too long due to building a lot from the ground up... That work is now done!
