Hey everybody, Just FYI i've got another commission finished for upload in just a little bit, but I wanted to let you know that ive decided to pause payment for next month as well while I catch up. One more commission and some work that I owe you guys as well as a poll. We're almost caught up! Hope you'll stick around for my next few pieces! Glad to be picking up the momentum a little bit :]

Really liked working on this and im surprised it came out as well as it did! This costume somehow really fits for her and gives me some ideas for some original work. With this we're one step closer to clearing out all the commissions! See y'all soon!

Slowness and the August Pause

I hate making updates like these making excuses but the truth is I think I'm in a bad place mentally so I apologize for the slowness that has plagued me recently. Its been tough getting through pieces as lately I feel unconfident in my ability to finish work. Its been a whole lot of sitting down to start, and then feeling totally disappointed with my output. Its obviously not true but me and my brain chemistry are clearly not on the same wavelength.

Here's a little preview of what I'm working on! Having fun experimenting with this one. May not be as fully finished as some of my other works when i get to the end but I wanted to take this time to try out some new ways of working, and get a little more painterly. Finally!

Alright y'all the biggest of my commissions is finally over and Im ready to start making some work again. This virus scare business was also a really busy period for me so sorry for the inactivity but im gonna have a really big one for ya soon!

In the meantime im planning on putting out some smaller, more experimental sketches over the next couple days so be on the lookout!

Normally I'd hold back a little with the incremental updates but you all are worth it, and this is a really big one! The likeness hasnt been completed in all their faces but this is the over all idea. I enjoy these big collage pieces a lot, and Im planning to have the center piece available as a standalone sfw piece as well. Be on the lookout! 👀

Ths was a pretty fun opportunity to try out some interesting tools. Normally in so much of my work there's a kinda super clean sterilized look that I really don't like. I want to avoid making work that feels so endlessly smooth and without texture, and I think these new brushes did a really good job of adding some GRIT. I'll be testing this a little further as time goes on, with more fanart on the next poll!

Scathe getting completely wrecked

Took about a million years but finally, finally, FINALLY finished!

I dont know why I gave her that weird angle here, and the hair looks a little strange to me but im glad its finally done! The sad news is that during the process of finishing this I needed to switch hard drives and lost a lot of footage so there probably wont be a recording of this one :[, Sorry.
