Aaaaa getting there! Wanted to show the progress so far, instead of lineart I’ve been painting the background because lining the leaves would be actually punishing myself lol. I was scared the flowers would stand out if I would line them so I painted both. Besides the ones in front! Not too happy about the left corner yet , it looks too cartoony right now for my style . So figuring out what to with that.

Okay so as you might saw from my rough sketch on Twitter I said I didn’t have time for this ….buuuut I have to wait on commissioners in different time zones etc so I thought why not start it anyway since I can take as much time as I need in between. If it wasn’t that grainy from the brush I could almost get away with no lineart just sketch lines I don’t know how it got so clean since I really draw this kinda fast! I like sketchy lines as well but it doesn’t fit my coloring too well....

The ych I’m workin on, I’m really happy with how it’s turning out! I noticed my lineart got thinner and thinner, and suddenly thought…wait a minute I love seeing lineart lol so I stared drawing it thicker again . I hope it’s noticeable & looking good ☺️

Rough sketch for a commercial commission, it’s a really exciting one I never drew a pirate girl before I think!
I’m glad I could find a 3D asset for a pirate ship for clip studio (even though it was a broken sunken one lol I just need the rough shapes) because finding references in the exact position you need it rougghhh and they are so detailed! 🥲
