In real life, Dan was skinny, 5'9, and had a black hole for a stomach. The boy had (and as far as I know, STILL has) an absolutely insane metabolism and could regularly down enough food in a single sitting to feed an entire family. Color Theory class was mostly fun, but it had its share of tedious assignments. This one in particular I had to deal with during undergrad, and it required using an entire package of 4" square colored papers to cut various scraps and arrange them to match the colors in a photo.
At least it isn't as bad as the dreaded pointillism project, which somehow I managed to get through undergrad without having to do. Dodged a bullet with that one.

This page is a bit hard to understand when it's in sketch form, so a bit of an explanation is warranted: this project from Color Theory required students to use these 4" x 4" squares of colored paper (which came in a box containing hundreds of different colors) to recreate a photo as closely as possible, simply by cutting out pieces and collaging them together. Few things are a bigger danger to Peter's heart (and the public in general) than seeing Whitney in a low-cut, curve-hugging dress. She should come with a Surgeon General's Warning!
This is also the first time I've shown Whitney wearing her wedding ring, interestingly enough. You'll see much more of that when the time comes in the pages of P&W, but for now, this is the first official glimpse of it.

The background on this one almost drove me insane. Turns out the Animal Crossing "rotating tube" perspective is surprisingly difficult to mimic! But I'm pretty happy with how it turned out overall, and I hope you all enjoy it too. :)
