I just didn't like how it was turning out and got so upset I left it for good. I'm giving it another shot.

As mentioned in the first post, this is one of my fave ships of all time, Re: Cutie Honey's version of Natsuko is definitely my favorite version of the character, it's such a shame that she's locked in this 3 ep OVA. There's the movie version but from what I've heard they made her straight in that one???.

Ok so, while I really liked the broad daylight look of the previous WIP, I realized that it was lacking that intimate feeling that the reference pic had. So! Don't hate me but I went for the classic sunset type of mood. I feel like hiding in the shadows as the sun sets gives it a different feeling.

I think I'm gonna go for more of a cell-shaded look. For the bg I tried emulating the show's style but I'm not too sold on it yet. Maybe some buildings would help?
