July Newsletter - Star Gazer

Hi everyone! It’s a big month, there’s so much happening! First of all: a big welcome to everyone who joined last month! There’s quite a few of you and I’m excited to have you on board! To celebrate, I have decided to add another free sticker to the postcard tier this month! I don’t think I can make it a regular thing but I will add one whenever the inspiration hits🕺

Apologies for the late start this month, but to make up for it I have new art scheduled for tomorrow💕

It is not midnight yet where I am so I'm counting this post as a June reward still 😂 I'm sorry for being late! But I made a few different versions to make up for the delay. I'm never sure if people are into......... fluids as much as I am so I try to not overwhelm y'all with it but I figured just making an additional version wouldn't hurt.

I had so much fun with the water in this one! If I had been a smart pea, I would have done a couple water studies beforehand, to make things look even prettier but I think the way it turned out here is still pretty neat! I hope you like it too!

WIP: Weightless

I recently was having a conversation with some of my friends about whether or not Crowley and Aziraphale liked swimming. And while we all had our favourite HCs, there was also a moment in the convo where one of them said "what if Aziraphale actually floats?" and I remembered a couple of fanarts and fics that included Aziraphale walking on water which I really loved! I'm pretty sure that HC comes from the one scene where Aziraphale and Crowley go to Heaven and Hell to report back about the Ant...

WIP: "Ineffable Histories" - 1960s

I'm part of a group project with a bunch of rad artists! The project is called "Ineffable Histories" and it's gonna be a little lineup of alllll the different outfits our lads wore over the course of history. I was assigned the 1960s and the 2007 looks and I'm very excited about both of them!

Y'all liked last month's Crowleys in dresses so much that one of you even sent me a request for a version with Aziraphale 🥰 I do admit that I'm not as confident with my fashion choices for Aziraphale compared to stuff Crowley wears but I think that's just because Aziraphale changes so little over time.

I hope you like him in his fancy outfits anyway!

Jokes aside, some of you may remember an earlier version of this sketch(it's also in my Vavoom artbook!). I have changed Crowley's entire face and Aziraphale's head shape now though and I'm finally happy with the sketch that I can move on to colouring! 

Silver Fox

This is stupid but I drew this to celebrate my own first grey hair! 😂  I belong to the cool kids now!

I'd LOVE to see Crowley with a few silver(or white. I know ginger peeps go white right away, the silver is just a colour combo choice) streaks in the show. I think it's so neat how our bodies age and change over time, the ineffables choosing to let their corporations do the same is a big fave of mine in AUs.

Last Sunday, I did some sketches of Crowley wearing dresses (Star Gazer patrons and up have seen 'em) and I liked this one so much that I coloured it and played around with some brushes while I was at it. You can probably tell that I also watched Dune Part Two recently lmao But a flowy dress like that is perfect for hot weather and sandy colours, so!
