More calvin and hobbes study. The character almost fits
Concept
Not technically a comic style study, but an idea for a future composition that didn't quite work out. I'll have to revisit this again again someday.

An interpretation of his style, though not a specific work of his.
Blech. It feels dirty doing some of these things with anatomy, especially the wings.

Inking styles
I'm going to be doing the february studies a day ahead of time for the patron folks, so that the dates better match when posted elsewhere.
There's a lot in art that's as much about what is not present as what is present. At the moment I have a lot of work to do to balance suggestion with the amount of content that I want to portray. Apologies for the lack luster study here, but I wanted to get something out for the samurai twi january 31st deadline. The votes are in and a proper study month will begin February.

In what scientists are calling "a very dumb move" I set a glass of drinking water on my desk and immediately proceeded to spill it all over my computer tower.
It was working when I unplugged it but I'm not going to take any chances and am waiting the appropriate 48 hours for every drop of water to evaporate before I test it out. It also means I will be unable to work or show the work I have done as that hard drive is a bit wet at the moment.
Here's hoping after the time passe...

Good news everyone! I have officially completed my "Studycember" for 31 days of 31 different arts.
First the bad news.
