Some more pages from GLab 4 - 2023 style! A little insider baseball on this one - when I do these redraws I work to keep the basic layout and 'vibe' of the original page. I want to honor those pages and my friend and fans who enjoy the prior work. In that spirit I'm not simply redrawing totally fresh (new layout, angles, dialog, etc). I love the old pages and this is me getting another crack at the fun from back then!

Page 24, this one has Virginia Jones trying to break into the cab of the tram. I do like the sequence of her 'pulling' the door open. I didn't do a lot to the panel's original layout but I did update her look to be more inline with how I draw faces and bodies now. Enjoy!

GLab 4 page 9, OH BOY! This one. I think page 9 is one page I was ALWAYS wanting to redraw. Lots of little adjustments and tweaks to the figures and I wanted to keep the action of the originals. Really like the new panel work versus the original YET I consider the original page pretty awesome.

Growth Lab 4 page 5! This would most definitely be in my personal top 3 classic pages. I think the original had a certain fun vibe to it and hopefully the redraw keeps that same energy!
For all you Hannah fans I also redrew page 60 of Growth Lab 7. One of the earliest Hannah appearance and a great into to her. I did update her hair in the redraw since her look has evolved a little since then.

This is the color guide your old pal Ready uses himself to color the ladies you see in the Growth Lab. It does change and evolve over time but here is the latest version. I thought a few of you might find it interesting.
Things like skin things can vary at times, shading and lighting come into play but these are the base colors I tend to work from. There is a base, dark and areola color. For things like the eyes there are base, dark and color highlights.

I did the bottom panel to page 37 a couple years back and thought it might be nice to wrap up the rest of the page.
DID YOU KNOW - Growth Lab Comics 1-4 all came out in 2003?!? At least as I recall... haha. Of course there were many stories set in the GLab Universe PRIOR to these comics. Still, these are the ones that really solidified the whole universe.

A really fantastic piece of art by Mutation Sector. Really love this piece. He's got a great style and take on Luna.
I'm linking his deviantArt below but FAIR WARNING - he deals a lot with over the top transformation art (violent transformations and stories).
