This month's care package is extra beefy, including 28 Serum presets!
There are a couple bass-heavy patches in here, but most of these sounds are the result of a lot of experimentation with emulating old analog synths. You will find patches reminiscent of 70s and 80s hardware including the Yamaha DX-7 and CS-80, Roland Juno 60 and Jupiter 8, Polymoog, Oberheim OB-X, Fairlight CMI and others.

The discs included full-print artwork as well as a hidden bonus track at the end, titled "Origins". (not to be confused with the forever-unreleased collaboration with The Frim of the same name). Although this ambient vaporwave-esque soundscape track has already been technically released, it was never truly discovered and we feel like it deserves some more exposure 5 years later. Enjoy!

Unfortunately, we couldn't recover the original vocal stems because they got saved to a "Downloads" folder that has long been lost (pro tip - never leave anything important in your Downloads folder!!!), but luckily we had an acapella to use instead.

This Ableton Project includes the Serum patch we used in our latest YouTube tutorial to demonstrate our growl sound design, as well as an effect rack with multiple options for getting that nice high end crunch. This is intended to be a starting point, not a completed sound, so please get creative by adding your own effects!!
