Returning to the inn, Kaen felt bad for the people approaching him on the street. Many had wanted to congratulate him on his quest and the token he earned, but once they got within smelling distance, they quickly found a reason to leave.

Kaen turned the corner and gasped when saw the entrance to the Fluffy Ignot. The spectacle he witnessed on the street and sidewalk informed him that tonight would be like nothing he had ever experienced.

Hess embraced Kaen, lifting him off the ground, almost cracking a rib while shaking him like a rag doll.
“I’m so proud of you!” Hess exclaimed, jostling Kaen around.
“Great, but can you let me breathe…” Kaen gasped, his face turning red.

Aubri shouted as she entered the clearing, drawing the attention of the orc as it dropped an arrow it was holding in one hand and grabbed its club that was standing next to him.
