Even though I didn’t make 31 b/w arts, I still can say I took a part in Inktober :)

For the second try I decided to draw characters of my friend Bedeser.

I used the thickest paper I have, because the usual paper gets deformed by water. And this time I used scotch tape for the smooth frame.

I need to learn more about shading.

Coloring with inks.. It’s like working with watercolors, but more difficult. The result is.. well, it’s okay for the first time -_-

I start to forget how to draw with traditional tools, I used to work digitally and rarely draw on paper, some of my markers got dry and this is bad, because it’s too problematic for me to buy new copic markers and inks now. I’ll try to use them more often.

I decided to take a brake and to draw in my sketchbook.

I had old pencil sketches on this page, I don’t like them, so I tried to test inking with the pen on them. I used real inks and pen — it’s a bit difficult, but very interesting process.

Oh, I’ve finally got my first printed luminescent sheet — looks interesting, there’s not enough pink colors on the art, maybe next time I’ll fix it on the new art.

Everyday I hold my iPad and everyday I can’t make any cool art. The sketches I did recently are extremely boring, looks like I draw things which were drawn a lot of times. I even already started changing my character, this is strange.

I scroll Twitter and all other social networks, watching new movies and serials, looking for any inspiration — maybe something is wrong with me, I just can’t find it.

Halloween YCH idea (?)

I’m trying to make Halloween YCH, but I’m out of ideas. I’d like to draw something unusual and even beautiful, all I could make is just this rough sketch, so I’m not sure about sale again. Maybe it’s too creepy.. who wants to see their OC showing their glowing viscera..

I’m relaxing and drawing the art for friends. , I’ve never been drawn arts like this, so I’m drawing it slowly, changing details and colors. The work is still in progress.

If it comes out good, I’ll print it as luminescent sheet - I’d like to make a surprise gift and a wall decoration for parties :)

Oh, btw I forgot to make a photo of the T-shirt which was made for Artshow in a single copy. Thanks Nismo for photos, he bought it out. In fact I made this print for a snapback, but I got problems with the printing office.. that was a disgusting story..

And.. I don’t have any idea how to translate the phrase, cuz it’s a pun which means “Do not pet” and “Do not iron” at the same time ^^’

Alright.. I’m finally at home, I got enough of sleep and I’m ready to work again on my own projects and commissions.

Sillycon was amazing as always, I couldn’t sleep there, because: 1. I was a part of decoration team; 2. There were parties where some of my friends expected me to be in costumes and having fun; 3. There were a lot of new people I wanted to meet and talk irl.

Hello, guys. I’m sorry for no new posts. I had a lot of experiences, mostly they were very positive. But there were also moments that hurt me a lot. In addition to my depressive state these moments caused me to art block. This pain is still in my heart. But I was finally able to draw something, and I need to work somehow..

Offline

I’ll be offline for a week. Wildfurence is coming, we should prepare our campground. Hoping for the good weather and getting a little rest, not sure about both though.
