"exploration" 🐺 [merlot/amaryllis] intro animation wip

Hi there! Here's a WIP version of the intro for the Merlot/Amaryllis animation (I'm now deciding to call this one simply just "Exploration", so the series would be "refuge -> solace -> exploration", haha. I also have the rest of the comic pages for Solace sketched out, and the video is coming together, so I'm hoping to have both the comic and the animation for these characters finished up by the end of the year.

Merlot animation WIP 🐺

Quick lil animated WIP featuring Merlot's werewolf t-d*ck (censored so Patreon doesn't give me trouble for it in case of guideline changes) a lil knot starts to form under the hood, which sort of swells up and acts more like a sheath

Sorry for the bit of inconsistency with uploads! Lately I tend to just work on whatever seems fun at the moment to avoid burnout

August updates and some gifs!

I'm sorry about the lack of updates or posting recently! I moved to a new place this month, and am only just started feeling settled in... just been a little hectic and I wound up focusing a little more on other projects and commission work. I finished coloring a TF sequence for the short film I've been contributing on, and since I can't share that publicly yet I'll just post it here as another WIP, haha.

In general I tend to think werewolves probably can't balance on two legs super well (at least the way I usually draw them) especially when they aren't used to their wolf form yet!

Amaryllis decides to take her chances returning to her previous life among humans, sure she'll be able to keep her newfound lycanthropy a secret. She heads home through the storm, now better equipped with a thick coat of fur and enhanced senses.  Merlot sadly watches her go.

Updates & some thoughts! 🐺

Hello! Hope you've been having a good summer so far! I've been working on the Merlot & Amaryllis animation, and suddenly had an idea. I kept wishing I could add more story elements to the animation, especially to bridge the gap between their first video and where they end up. But I've just been sticking mainly to nsfw and TF scenes for the animation itself, to keep things easier to manage on a production level. But then I realized, the story elements would probably be easier to incorporat...

Been a slow art month in some ways-- I took on some temporary part-time work to help with moving expenses, but my last day is tomorrow so things should get back on track soon, lol

I'm aiming to finish the Merlot/Amaryllis animation sometime in July! Here's another wip from that, which is still pretty rough/messy but it's slowly getting there... this is probably the most complex shot in the thing

This is unrelated to the current project I'm working on, but I was looking through old files and found this almost-comic that I completely forgot I drew, and despite it being very messy and the art being kinda old, it's still kinda cute to me? 

Originally I think this was intended to become an animation depicting some version of a 'first time' for Denni and Loup (I tend to imagine this various ways and haven't settled on a 100% canon version of how that went down, lol).

Merlot & Amaryllis wip animation 🐺

Here's some of what I've been working on this weekend! Just a small shot, needs a little more cleanup

I was originally going to make this one of my own characters, but I think this might work well as a YCH instead? If so it'll be posted here first as early access for $10 patrons on Monday, probably going to do an auction or something. This is just a sketch but it'd be cleaned up and colored

Update! Some concept art for next animation! 🐺

The next animation will be a bit simpler than previous ones and will be TF focused, I'll be working on some more concept art for it in the coming days ^^ I wanted to revisit the characters Merlot and Amaryllis (who now finally has a name, lol) since Refuge ended with them parting ways-- they do get back together and I'll be giving a bit more backstory to that alongside the animation
