Info on the Shantae thing, as well as some general stuff! This'll be a post for all patrons, since there's no actual NSFW content in this post.

I'm working on the credits pages, and I want to make sure everything is in order.

Shantae Project - Small Update - Pretty much gone gold

Pretty much done! All camera work, compositing, and animation is complete. All I have left to do is make the credits, render everything, and add in the audio when it's ready.

For scenes like in this preview (namely this scene, the futa spider, and the futa harpy), I've rendered out two sets--one of the foreground parts (Rotty's chest for instance) and the background parts (Rotty's legs, dick, and all of Shantae). This allows me to do the lighting effect on two layers, so Rotty's boobs don't ge...

Shantae Project - Camera and lighting Demo

So this is what I got set up today.

All the BG layers are scripted to follow the movement of the main layer, dividing the difference in motion by a small factor.

E.g. the far backdrop only moves and scales at 1/8th the rate of the main. Stuff in the foreground scales by a multiplier instead.

AND! I was able to easily get some lighting done via CC Glass and a few CC Composite + drop shadow filters.  I'm gonna tweak it a little for each loop but it easily gives me a pseudo-light...

Just wanted to show off some of the backgrounds. Components here are layered so I can do a bit of parallaxing which should look cool.

Shantae Project - Harpy Loops (Sort of a Repost, Big post)

So, before I get to the backgrounds (which I'm also doing tonight), I wanted to quick revise the harpy form.

The animation was kinda done as an extended version but it was complicated to deal with, with a lot of transitions, dialog, etc. I've decided to cut it so it's more in line with everything else.

The flipside, it has more loops in general to rely on :V

Shantae Project - Mermaid + Futa

MERMAID IS DONE!

And with that, ALL of them are done! Mostly anyway. Harpy needs some tweaks.

I might actually go through and re-record harpy to format it in the same way as all the other forms. The movie format you guys saw earlier would be a patreon-exclusive deleted scene.

Mermaid form has one extra loop, cause all of them are slightly more similar (and are meant to transition to each other easily). The climax scene for it is one of my more favorite ones though.

I really like the second loop and climax of this one.

Shantae Project - Mermaid Revised

I decided to redo the mermaid version. I was not happy with the old one.

For reference:

I can't really see me doing anything else with the original one. It's lacks energy too. I like the new one a lot better. It's a more fun pose.

Plus the new version has tiddy sucking so that's a plus ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

I might extend this loop a little to make the recovery time a bit more natural....

A bit preoccupied

I've been a little preoccupied for the past few days. On the 16th, Tumblr was pulled from the Apple store, due to complaints of child porn. Since Monday, Tumblr has been deleting blogs left and right--mostly NSFW, some SFW. It's likely these are related but it's never been confirmed.

Tumblr is a horribly managed site with some pretty bad cliques, but it's also a very mechanically good site. It's the only one that lets me upload gifs, 10-image sets, video (sfw anyway), share other users posts, ...

Shantae Animation Preview - Snake Form (Futa)

Fun story. When rendering this, I decided to start using a scale-output to go from 1080p to 1350p. 25% bigger than normal, so I could zoom in without quality loss.

Toon Boom renders via things call write nodes. You hook one up to a composition, and it'll output whatever data it sees, even if it's not your currently active display. I can use this to render multiple scenes at once.

But since I only needed this one and to scale up the spider forms, I disconnected ever...

What this means:

There are now two variants of each role! One SFW, one NSFW.

Whenever I publish a NSFW post, it'll only be viewable to people who are in one of the default NSFW roles. SFW users won't have to see it.

If you select a SFW role, you'll also get the 'SFW' tag in Discord if you join it, so you won't see the NSFW channels (except for the lunchbox if applicable, which is rarely NSFW).
