Unrelated, I've had a few people remove their pledges recently, which isn't anything to note normally, usually it's due to financial issues, but a few in the exit survey have said 'the creator wasn't engaging as expected.' Which honestly doesn't really help me if I've been continuing on as per status quo.

Hiro WIP #S

I don't know how many of these we're up to.

I've had other WIPs (and also cut a short shot that was kinda dull) but they're not as interesting.

I'm over 50% done with lineart by this point. I decided to not frame-by-frame this bit because LORD that would've taken me an entire week. A low level rig works just as fine. (Hence why it's colored while the rest is still lineart)

There's a few tweaks to this I still have to make to this shot but it's coming along.

This came out slightly 'eh.' I kinda gave up trying to do a texture for her scales. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

wide WP is 21:9 (ultrawide)

iPad is 4:3 (high resolution, but also would work if you have an older monitor)

Nothing super flashy, but most of the first scene is totally linearted out and has the bit of bounce for in betweens. The one thing that's missing is the opening spread shot and the castle gate lifting, both of which will be absurdly easy to do (the spread shot I'm planning on doing just as a still image or two.

SO, little rundown of everything:

• Still working on the animation. I've gotten retakes and adjustments for the audio and it sounds great
• There's still a lot of work to do, so I'm guessing it'll be complete by April or maybe May.
• Most of it will be streamed throughout the week on Youtube

I realized that 'Hiro' also happens to be the name of the protagonist from Darling in the Franxx.

That totally slipped my mind when i started this but honestly I find that to be a happy little accident considering how much I loathe that show.

I just realized I forgot to do a bit of a monthly update for February.

Hiro the Dense: character designs are complete, backgrounds are good to go. I'm still waiting on voice acting stuff. I've gotten all of my own lines recorded, just waiting on audio tests from a few others and then lines.
