This was inspired by a 4e campaign I'm in set in the WoW universe. I made it for our DM who is one of my closest friends and they gave me the go ahead to share it here with all of you.
Made using a combination of Dungeondraft, Wonderdraft, and GIMP. It's also the first time I've used multiple layers. i wanted to give the tree an effect of having a huge canopy so I tried to add a translucent layer. I think it mostly works.
Map is 30X30 squares and 2100x2100 pixels. Gridded an...

New video up!
It was nice to be a bit more animated than my last two videos, I definitely feel like I am getting into the groove of things. However, I think I make better content when looking into specific how-tos and shorter formats. Editing down this video took a while and it was still 40 minutes long.
Lovely to look in-deoth into something but likely not going to do an entire UA again, at least not until I've got a better flow and can give my thoughts a little more concisely. ...

A friend of mine keeps taunting me with bridges so I thought I'd go all out and make a map that has lots of them.
Whilst this map might seem specific to a witch (as was the theme), I could also imagine the place being entirely abandoned, or a good place for any swamp showdown.
The VTT file for dyynamic lighting is attacthed too, and a guide on how to use it on Roll20 can be found here: 2021-04-16 08:33:28 +0000 UTC

I've had a lot of feedback from my first video about how people enjoy PvP in their games. However, so often it ends up being an uncomfortable and offputting part of the hobby because it's not implimented or talked about properly.
In this video i explore the ways in which any group can include PvP in their games, by keeping every player in mind, and using PvP themes to elevate their roleplaying experience.
Also, this video was worth making just for the fun I h...

Here is a battlemap I made that you might have seen on our Friday night game over at https://www.twitch.tv/bonusactionrainbow
I wanted to go for something that I could use in multiple games, but also something that still stood out. Hopefully this is one of many free maps coming to my patreon.
I used a doublewall for to make it easier to work with dynamic lighting. The VTT file for dyynamic...

This page went to sleep for a while because of covid amongst other things. I got really busy with starting up BAR and just didn't have the time or ability to do all the little extras.
Hopefully, you've come here, because all that is changing now. If you want to support me, you absolutely can with the single BARbarian tier available, but please do so knowing that right now this is just a place for me to update people on what I am up to without any special perks, aside from a discord role...

Introduction
Making a character for a tabletop RPG can be a daunting task, and often our characters who we thought were great to begin with, end up being difficult to play because they’re restricted by their own backstory, have no room for growth or don’t work well with others.
In this video, I’ll go over some easy steps for character creation to ensure that you have a character with a strong backstory, which ties directly into the game, and a character that you start playin...

People that play Tabletop Roleplaying Games are a creative bunch. We’re always keen to get stuck into games, uncover clues, solve mysteries, defeat bad guys, and see where the dice take us. Players are great at using their own character’s kit, at showing their character’s knowledge of the enemy, and at describing in detail their backstory and how it got them to where they are today.
However, I would argue that from the very first time you sit down and play, players should pu...

Thanks to all the help and feedback, I've taken the plunge and decided to open up a patreon.
Many of you told me that you wanted to support me, join in more games, and get involved in the community but were unable to make weekly campaigns.
Well, now there's a way to directly support my work AND get a little something back by doing so.
Every month I will release a homebrew oneshot for patrons to run for their own groups, or just to read through and find out any...
