Every time I make a new Day in the Life I feel like I'm moving into a new chapter of my life. Also, being a university teaching assistant for the past three months has been a blast! Early access to the new video on Patreon in a few hours!

All that was needed to get this sequence is two simple shots, lining the toy car up, dropping it and parking the car at the exact same spot, then putting one shot after another in Premiere Pro.
No color grading, no fancy edits, just a simple color distortion to make it slightly more seamless.
Simples shots can turn out amazing, it all depends on how creatively you can view things.

Working on a new video script as I'm posting...

The most fun part of coming up with every video, is thinking of the script.
Even though it's different every video, and not all of the script ended up making the final cut, it does make the process very streamlined. And I know exactly what I need to film, and what I needed to talk about.

My mum walked into my room when I was doing this thumbnail, you can imagine how furious she got for the first five seconds.

In search of another creative outlet, since the main channel is becoming more of a portfolio-esque channel. I need to dump my random thoughts elsewhere, then second channel it is!

99% Done! Trying out a new Pluggin from Dehancer. Been wanting to try editing a film look with the cinematics, but exporting time jumped from 15 minutes to 9 hours; not sure if it's worth it. Don't worry I will give you guys a preview on Wednesday/Thursday! The video will be out by Friday/Saturday!
P.S. I don't think I will ever get an editor, it's gonna be a nightmare for them :')

With more editing applications like Lightroom and Photoshop integrating AI, I am starting to get confused about the borders of the integrity of photography. Hey everyone hope you're all having a beautiful one!
I just wanted to update those of you who requested a print a month prior.
Unfortunately, the prints have been slightly delayed on the manufacturer's side and are scheduled to be delivered to me by early July instead of late June as I previously expected. Again the prints will be shipped out randomly, and no prints are identical :)

There's just something special about Japan that drives me both creatively and as a person.

I have started recording my expenses since my study abroad in Japan last April, and I keep track of my income and expenses with an Excel sheet. (The numbers are in HKD, if it's in USD I would've been broke long ago)
I think it's been helpful to tally things up by the end of the month and see how much of it I've spent are "Have to Haves" and "Nice to Haves" and possibly reflect on my spending habits, and regret on those impulsive purchases sometimes.

As much as I adhere to the concept of "don't judge a book by it's cover", it is unfortunate that YouTube doesn't work that way.
