Acrylic washes chart updated!

Hey there, as promised, here is the 2.0 update for my acrylic washes comparison chart. I added all of the Warpaints Fanatic washes, plus the washes from the Formula P3 range.

The 2.0 version will probably last for quite a while, as I'm not aware of any new washes coming out before upcoming Two Thin Coats wave 3 Kickstarter.

Scorpions WIP

Working on my Striking Scorpions at the moment, which I paint for my next video using only Warpaints Fanatic. The armour is pretty much done, weapons will probably the same Rakarth Flesh bone colour as on my other Aeldari models, plus I'll be adding some richt bronze details. Very enjoyable to paint so far :)

As a little Patreon bonus, here are all of the six individual colour swatches for Citadel Contrast, Speedpaint 2.0, Vallejo Xpress Color, Dipping Inks from Green Stuff World, Scale 75 Instant Color, and newly added: AK Qick Gen. Painting update

I realised I haven't posted a painting update in quite a while, so here is what I've been up to. Over the festive days, I visited my parents and brought a Gundam kit with me, which I started building, a Gundam Aerial HG. I really got into Gundam kits last year when I visited Tokyo for the second time, though I'm not sure yet if this is something people would like to see from me. Let me know if you're also interested in Gundams.

As the GW release schedule is winding down for this year, I'm finally getting round to tackling some minor bug fixes on the website, tidying up the template a bit, and above all improving...

Another week, another update

Slowly getting there with the Tyranid Warriors... need to refine the weapons, then wash the flesh and tidy it all up. Hope to finish them this weekend!

My new video is online, it's a review of AK's Deep Shade washes. Check it out, I've done a few things differently this time, maybe you'll notice the differences. At the end, for example, there is a comparison and recommendations for alternatives. In 2023 I mainly invested in equipment, my big goal for 2024 is to make my videos more interactive and engaging. I'm also working on my accent, I promise ;)

Tyranid Warriors update

I hope you had a great weekend! I'm still working on the Tyranid Warriors. I catched Covid which slowed me down, but yet I made some progress. These are pretty big models with a lot of surface area, so I think I'll still need a week or two to finish them.
