This week is the calm before the storm, as we've got TWO major releases to cover in August – one of them Warhammer 40.000: Imperium, can you guess the other? Wink, wink.
So today I have a showcase for the Primaris Intercessor squad I brought to a codex-legal size, and for the weekend, I'll have some advice for organizing your paint collection with a self-made paint swatch. Garfy is still busy painting Soulblight, so I guess we'll see something undead from him this week!

A while ago I talked about my plans to add a new segment to our website, a collection of scale comparison shots across all ranges. Maybe it's just me, but I'm really interested in how scales and sizes are changing over time.
Recently I was able to put some more work into taking and editing the first pictures. Here you can see the first few of the many more comparisons that will become a part of the ever-growing database. It will still be a while before they'll appear on Tale of Painters...

Have a bone-chilling ...

The Army Painter just lifted the veil on their new Warpaints Air raneg and I'm happy to say I was able to test the prototypes and add my feedback to the development. Check out the video above, you'll be able to spot some of my thoughts throughout the video.
I quite liked using the prototypes. The flow is smooth and the coverage is good, as you would expect from a good airbrush paint, but what really stands out is the design of the range. Colours come in triads: a mid tone, a darker base...
