Hey folks, here comes the next update for my 7-in-1 colour matching document. Based on your feedback I fixed a few wrong colour designations. I also carried over the changes from the latest Warpaints Fanatic swatch, which had more accurate colours, and rearranged a few colours here and there to accommodate that. I also added a new intro page, a contents page with an exact list of which colours and brands are included.

Hope you're good! End of this week there'll be the next update for the 7-in-1 document, with a few display errors and wrong colour designations fixed, plus the improved colour accuracy of the recent Warpaints Fanatic update rolled in. And for the weekend, there'll be my next video, with a look at all types of miniature paint markers, which is kind of a new trend. Should be pretty fun!

Hey folks, V2.1 brings a big update to my Warpaints Fanatic swatch! I added the colours from the new Infinity paint sets, and also rebalanced most colours to improve the accuracy even further. This also accounts for fluctuations in the Warpaints Fanatic range, for example, Pure Red, whose newer batches are less pinkish. The updated version has also the vibrancy icons from the 7-in-1 document, marking colours that are more vibrant in real life than a digital screen can reproduce.

So the first batch of Despoilers is about 90% done, hope to finish them this week. What's left is fixing mistakes, adding transfers and weathering powders, and painting the bare head. Quite happy so far, the new MkIII models are a joy to paint, I know not everyone prefers the updated design but I love it :)

Update time! I had to rearrange my production schedule quite a bit, as it seems that AK's new Playmarkers are coming out soon after I got some protoypes at Spiel in Essen in October 2024. For that, I planned a comparison video that is covering all sorts of miniature painting markers (Playmarkers, Real Color Markers, Gundam makers, Speedpaint markers from Army Painter/Deep Cut studios, and refillable markers), which will be next in line now. Hey folks, I updated my hand-painted Game Color chart to V1.3. The updated version has the vibrancy icons from the 7-in-1 document, marking colours that are more vibrant in real life than a digital screen can reproduce. I also fixed the header of the alternate swatch ordered by product codes, which in V1.2 read "Model" instead of "Game Color".

Last week I did all the airbrushing and panel lining, now I'm working throught my squad of Sons of Horus Despoilers in two batches of five. Here is the progress on the first batch. Painting these is a nice change of pace, as I use faster technique like sponging, drybrushing and lots of weathering. I also love the new MkIII models. Last week I worked on assembling a unit of Despoilers for my Sons of Horus. I combined the new MkIII kit with the melee upgrade set and added Sons of Horus Heads and weapons from the Sons of Horus armoury set for extra flavour. Quite complex assembly process, as the assembly guide of the melee set is very barebones and doesn't explain what arms go together, so you have to experiment with posing yourself.

Hey folks, I updated my 7-in-1 Colour Matching Tool to V1.4. The updated version has the new Nova Orange from the Pro Acryl range, some missing colours, and I also added some quality of life improvements like fixed typos, and I rearranged the colours on a few pages like the army greens to make the order more intuitive :)

The most requested paint range I haven't mapped in a swatch is definitely Scalecolor. Unfortunately, I don't have a contact at Scale 75 yet, so I can't get review samples. But since the 7-in-1 document is selling quite well, I decided to shell out for the complete range on my own.
