More Warcry terrain

So I‘m back from my vacation and managed to finish another piece for my Warcry terrain collection. This is a wooden platform from the Red Harvest box. As it has small pieces of ruins in the same style as the Azyrite Ruins from the starter set, this piece should complement my collection nicely.

So this week I‘m still on vacation, but I‘ll be back on Friday and then visit Spiel fair in Essen, Germany. I hope to meet a lot of hobby brand partners there and get the scoop on some upcoming releases.

This week there will be showcase posts from me and Garfy, as well as a closer look at the new edition Kill Team rules this weekend. I also got my hands on wave 3 of Two Thin Coats just before I left, so an updated paint swatch will come soon!

Mobile Gunpla building

Hey peeps, I‘m currently on vacation but don‘t worry, there‘ll be new content as usual! I can‘t bring all my hobby gear but one thing I like to do is bring a little Gundam kit with me as you don‘t need much tools for those. Working on this RX-78-2 in SD form in exclusive Gundam Base colours, which I picked up last year in Tokyo :)

How to get the Citadel Colour swatch V2.0 update

I have just expanded my Citadel Colour swatch! The updated V2.0 contains over 140 more colours, including all Citadel Dry and Air colours, all Technical paints, as well as all discontinued colours like Gloss Shades and the old Texture paints. 379 colours in one chart, all Citadel Colours released after 2012.

More Warcry terrain

So I‘m working on the other half of my Warcry terrain collection. As you can see, it’s not the contents of the original starter set 1:1, but a mix of ruins and Warcry Catacombs pieces. I zenithal basecoated the pieces on the left, which are repaints of existing paint jobs. I masked the wooden and brass details as I just want to repaint the stonework. The pieces on the right are the ones I painted a couple of weeks ago :)

Aviarch Harpies WIP

Painting update! I wasn't able to get that much painting in the last two weeks, but I made some progress on the Aviarch Harpies from the Teratic Cohorts Warcry warband. With their large wings, these have a lot of surface area to paint. Overall I'd say I'm halfway through, mainly need to add highlights and stuff. I've also assembled and primed the second batch of Warcry starter set terrain :)

Free quality update for my Warpaints Fanatic swatch!

I'm happy to say I made some improvements to my Warpaints Fanatic swatch. As with my more recent swatches, I digitally removed dust and scratches from each of the 216 colour squares. I also checked all the colours again and was able to further improve the accuracy of many colours, especially the light colours.

Prowlers & Clanrat painting

A painting update is long overdue, here is what I‘ve been up to. I finished the three Prowlers from the Bonereapers warband, and now I‘m working on another Clanrat with an alternate fur colour.

As you can see on the left, there are Citadel Dry paints. I bought all the colours currently missing on my Citadel chart (Dry, Air, and Texture paints) and I want to add them all to the next iteration of the paint swatch. I‘ll keep you updated.
