I was going to post a monoscopic and stereoscopic version of this today, but I did some mistakes when rendering the video, so I feel the stereo version is not up to standards yet. The monoscopic version is okay though, other than a few animation issues I'll be fixing before I start re-rendering this next month. That does not mean the release will necessarily be next month though, as rendering this does take a lot of time, and I need to render other stuff as well.

Here's some progress again. Not quite as much as before, as I encountered some technical problems with the rig, which took time out of animating, but I think I'm still within schedule.
I also tweaked some of the previous stuff, and they should look a bit better now. Basically I slowed down a couple transitions, smoothed out animation, added some variety, as it felt a bit too loopy on some parts.
Next one should be out on Friday morning.

Here's the character that I'll use for the upcoming unbirth video. Just a quick pose, so you don't have to look at the default T-pose. I might end up changing/tuning some things, as I make the clip, but here's what I have of her at the moment.

I just made a slight change to all 1080p videos. The watermark in the corner now fades after the beginning, so it's not visible for the rest of the clip. It was a bit distracting on the POV clip specifically.
So if the watermark was disturbing you, I recommend downloading the clips again.

Here's a progress clip of the POV version of the previous video. It's mostly done, but I still need to do some preparations to it before rendering it. Mainly with the lights. So if you have any comments, I might be able to fit minor changes at this point to audio or the animations. The final version should be done around the end half of next week, unless something unexpected happens.

I figured this would be good to know. I'm opening this one up to all patrons, as it's more of a hardware poll and doesn't specifically affect content. Only release formats are affected.
If you have multiple headsets, just select the highest one, or in the Rifts and Vives case, the one you use more.

How do you like your unbirth content? Fatal or not? How deep do you want to see it go? With the coming unbirth clip, I figured these might be relevant questions to ask!
As always, no gore will be shown, even on the fatal options.

Hey,
I'm getting pretty close to finishing the video, but I have to re-render some frames, due to a minor glitch. The renders should be done in around 9 hours, so I should be able to get the video released within the next 24 hours or so. Barring any major issues.

Thank you for your patronage! We've reached the 1200$ goal! We're around halfway to the point, where I can survive with this alone. I'd make some renders, but I'm not home at the moment. But I'll do new renders of the upcoming scene once I get home later tomorrow.
Other than that, there's not much to update. I'm still within the schedule I've laid out in my previous posts. After the current animation is done, I'll start working on the VR version of the scene. And the POV version as well.

As mentioned on the front page, pre-rendered VR videos are planned to have their own separate 15$ tier. But I'm having some second thoughts, whether I should just include them on the 10$ tier as well. I kind of want to charge extra for them, just so I can have more tiers, and since they do take time off of doing new content, which tend to work a bit better for visibility, due to the still comparatively low VR adoption rate. But then again, I kind of feel everything should...

Before voting, note that the time spent on POV/VR versions is out of making completely fresh videos.
I just got some new hardware (double rendering speed!), so I think I might be doing a pre-rendered 360VR and normal POV version of the current clip I'm making, before I move on to the completely new unbirth video I've mentioned. Hey!
Here's the layout for the next video. As some showed interest in seeing them. Basically cameras are mostly done, but I always do some changes to them as well while animating, so nothing is really final even in that regard. Some cuts get longer, some angles might change to better match with the character movements etc.
Animations are obviously super rough. As are poses. Most poses are missing, and many of the ones that are there will be tweaked on the animation phase.

Related to audio, I know some find it annoying and immersion breaking, especially in POV clips & male characters.
On a side note, the layout should be done either tomorrow, or at least by Monday. It's about halfway done at the moment. As mentioned before, it will be pretty rough, with mainly camera & composition done. And even then I usually make changes to it during the animation phase.

I just bought Redshift earlier today, and I've been working on the character materials and learning to work with it.
Here's a test render with the built in spherical stereo camera. You can view it in 3D with various VR headsets, phones etc. I use whirligig with my Rift.
The materials etc. are still a work in progress. But I'll probably start animating the new scene soon, and then work on the materials again, once that's done.

Well, that was a lot faster than expected! We've reached the first goal, and this is now paying for all the licenses that I need to make these videos!
I had to scramble to make this picture, as I was expecting to hit 300$ at the end of the month earliest.
That said, I really need to shorten those eyebrows, they were fine when the hair was covering them, but now that they're in plain sight, they're a bit disturbing, at least to my eyes.

Someone reported having some issues with the player character being very huge, and not being able to see the menu etc. I won't have time to fix it today, but I'd like to know if anyone else has the same problems and if you're using a Vive or a Rift. As the Rift version is working fine on my end, but I can't test the Vive as I don't have one. Which is one of the reasons I'm keeping realtime VR content free.
