I won't elaborate too much, but I've been dealing with some health problems for the past 4 months or so, which I hoped would be solved by now, but it seems like I'll need a few more doctor visits to resolve things. I threw in some mild tattoos & pubic hair. One or the other might get removed for the Diminishment scene, since I'll have to see how they look like when I add the clothes, and those won't be done until very late in the project, basically one of the last things.

Here's Lucy's friend, Jane. As usual, nothing is necessarily final, and it's likely she will see some minor revisions, as I animate her.
I decided to give her rather large breasts. She's pretty close to Clara's size, but a bit smaller and with a pretty slender body otherwise.
I might give her a simple tattoo or two later on, maybe on her shoulder or something, but I'm still undecided. I don't want to go too over the top on the goth side. Also might add some trimmed pube...

Initial renders are now done, and I've moved on to re-renders. I'm re-rendering roughly 1600 frames, which should take around 4-7 days. Originally I was only going to re-render a few parts, but since the initial renders ended up finishing multiple days earlier than I thought, I decided to fix some issues that were bothering me. The renders are progressing smoothly, although with some minor re-renders planned after everything is done, but so far only maybe an additional days worth, so not much at the moment at least.
Current status is 7250/12000 frames rendered. So I'm expecting around 2-3 weeks until release, assuming no bigger surprises in the remaining frames.

Just a quick update on the render status. A bit over a 3rd of the entire animation has finished rendering at this point. I estimate roughly 3 weeks of render time remaining based on the current progress.

The scene is now rendering! The average per frame render time is around 4 minutes. Basically varies between 2-7 minutes depending on the shot. Stuff where the face/hair is close to the camera taking the longest, as usual.

Remember how I said I'd do the rest of the simulations, before I bother polishing what I already had? Well. I ended up doing the exact opposite, and scrapped everything I had done, and remade the entire simulation rig.
Now it of course did set me back a bit. But I now have a much more flexible setup, with better collisions and volume retention, so it's worth it in the long run at least.

I'm aiming to have the the remaining stuff on the playblast done on Thursday. Fingers crossed for no further complications! But even if I can't finish all of the tweaks/simulations by that point, I'll at least post a version with the missing lipsync and internal shots included.
Original goal was to have the scene rendering before the end of the month, but I think it'll be pushed to early May. But we'll see.

The loop is only around 9 or 10 seconds long, so I combined several of it together, for slightly easier viewing
VR versions of this should be out roughly in 2 weeks.
Next AV animation playblast (polishing/lipsync etc.) probably roughly within the same time frame.

The scene is now ready to render. This one is a pretty short loop, around 9 second if I remember right. But on the other hand it has two videos rolling at the same time, so footage wise it was as much work as the others.
I was originally going to have the screen light the scene, but after fiddling with it, I would have needed to place a pretty large screen deeper inside the stomach, and the collision would have been a massive pain, so I went with a FPS style hand holding a ph...
