*Update: I learned how to now resample and compress video in DaVinci Resolve, and I got this video down from 813 MB to about 130 MB! The link has the new video size. I hope to compress all my videos like this in future!
Speed Process Video of the creation of the November 2024 mOnthly grOw illustration.
Took some time off for a long weekend as we had out-of-state family visit. I'm back at my desk and working away. Finalized the MGI Speed Process video, sketched the first watercolor of this month, and completed 2 frames of the next issue. This puts us at the 85% completion mark, with only 11 frames and the cover art is left (and all the post-production work as well)!

This month's concept comes from That New Shoe Smell, who entered this idea into the May 2024 Tier 3 (Themed-Color) Patreon Art Contest and came in second place only by 1 point (37 v 36 votes).

2 more frames completed for grOw/cinema 3, Vol. 2, "Coastal Swells." I also got a good start on frame 58. This puts us at about the 76% completion mark, just easing over the three-quarters mark.
But, I am leaving my desk a tad early today to go down and finalize our Halloween set-up in preparation for the neighborhood kiddos. (We have a great set of spooky decorations and kids "know" our house.)

I completed another 2 frames and made it over halfway through a third. This puts us at about the 74% completion mark, juuust shy of the three-quarter way.
Did some final story brainstorming with my wife for the ending of the story of this series. We had a pretty good idea, but it needed fine-tuning. We hashed that out last night and I completed the script, coming in at a 75 frames in the end.
