Since the image is of en existing cartoon character in parody, it was an easier draw. So, I decided to spend a little extra time actually painting a background. Of course, it had to be in the style of the old cartoon's backgrounds. ;-)

The poster art is done! The issue has gone through a few rounds of proofreading and corrections. My wife and I will be doing one more round of this, and the issue is complete! (And so is the series!)
Now would be a good time to re-read the entire series (issues 1-5) to date to get ready for the climactic battle! Reacquaint yourselves with the characters, story, the machinations, and glossary of terms!

I worked extra late today to complete 3 more frames! No, we're not done just yet, as I decided to add one more frame for better story flow. So with 75 out of 76 frames completed, we are 99% completed with the body of this issue! There is still the cover art; proofreading (images and text, which my wife has started already); final PDF creation; store set-up; and such before release.

Another 2 frames completed today! (Yes, as mentioned earlier, I'm working some weekend days to make up for lost time — both from my COVID in November and my traveling for the holidays later in December). We are now at the 96% completion mark.
Once all the frames are completed, I still have to: create the cover art; review and proofread (both text and art (such as forgetting Harmon's beard)); make the final PDF; set-up the e-commerce store. When that's all done, ...

I was able to complete 2 more frames for the next issue (grOw/cinema 2, "grOwing to a Crescendo", Episode 6). We are now at the 93-1/3% mark with 70 of 75 frames completed. (Of course, there is still the cover image to draw as well).
I think this is the first I am announcing this, but this episode's title is "Dies Irae". (Review the end of Chapter 1 and/or the Glossary of Terms if you forgot what this was.)
