This idea comes from patron, Grand Funk Master Chief Ricardo Montalbán Phon Con 14, who entered this into the January 2023 Color Commission contest.
I decided, like I did for Sketch #104, to experiment with stylizing a photo for the background, making it look like watercolor. I may do this more for sketches, as long as the drawing doesn't have to interact perfectly with the background.

It also did quite well in the polls, gaining 32 votes, which was 3rd place (50 votes for 1st; 40 votes for 2nd).
I decided to add the background, using the quad 3D model from grOw/cinema 1.

The last 2 frames of the issue have been completed!
Now, all that's left is:
• the Cover art
• proofreading and corrections (text and art)
• creating the PDF
• setting up the store.
I will have a Patreon early release next week ($3 and higher tier) (when the above is finished)!
Public release will come about a week later when I complete updates to my website.

Between yesterday and today, I was able to complete 4 frames. I had to work a little later to finish the 4th frame, as these past few pages have so much detail (as I've mentioned previously). (I didn't post yesterday so as to give the Commission Call-for-Entry posts prominence on the feed.
2 more frames and the cover image to go! (Plus all the post-production work — numerous proofreading cycles, corrections, making the PDF, etc.)
