Another 4 frames were completed today, bringing us even closer to the next release. I finished frame 47 of Episode XXVII (27) of grOw/cinema 1, The Ever-Expanding Universe.
This brings us to the 76% completion mark — just passed the three-quarters point.

This commission features the 1-tone anime shadow style, but with the added 2nd color green highlighting (from the cauldron).
Includes roughs and sketches. The rough shows the general concept with some quick spot colors. The Tight sketch shows the image full-size, and close-to-final line work, but no color. Tight sketch 2 is a variation with a slight bottom/body shape change (more rounded than pear).

EDIT: When I published this on June 13th, I mistakenly attached previews for pages 33 and 34, instead of 34 and 35. This has been corrected.
Two more frames have been completed for the next issue. I also was able to get a start on a third frame. This brings us to the 57% completion point for the episode — getting closer to the two-thirds mark.

In the last couple of days, in addition to the new Goth & Crane animation, I was able to complete 5 new frames for the next issue of grOw/cinema 1, The Ever-Expanding Universe, Episode XXVII (27).
Things are cruising along with this issue right now, after a slow start. (This was due to creating the "Milk Delivery" animation as well as trying to construct the story around the plot points I wanted to achieve.

Includes roughs and sketches. The rough was created with my 3D program, so that I could quickly and easily swivel the camera around to get the best shot. With hyper-sizes like this, and their close "interaction," the 3D model was the best way to realize a good image.
Rough 2 was created after the commissioner asked for larger sizes ("who'd a thought?!").
