The challenge with translating cheetahs and some other felines in my style is because in the specific case of cheetahs, the nose is quite far below the eyes, while the eyes are set up higher than center on the head. In my style, two trademarks are flat muzzles with the nose out front, and eyes centered on the skull right beside the muzzle bridge. First: Dialogue I chose to add (the idea didn't have any before).
Second: The commissioner's re-write of the dialogue.
Third and forth: Thumbnail tied down into a sketch. It came out very clean since the thumbnail wasn't messy!

As you can tell between the thumbnail and even the sketch here, this page went through a lot of dialogue rewriting, massaging it until I was able to convey exactly what I wanted to say, but in a more natural way. :3

As you can see, I ended up changing the dialogue a little bit - the product of a small rewrite I did. I also had to flip the characters around in order to keep the camera consistent. That was a small mistake on my part when doing this re-write! x3

I saved out a bunch of WIPs for this so you can see my process of how I expanded this commission to be 16:9 instead of 1:1. If you're wondering about why it expands even more in the very last image, it's because I miscalculated and didn't make the commission nearly as wide as it should have been, so I had to flatten the image, stretch it out in the right ways, and then clean out the seams. Oops. >_>

Also I don't normally do this, but I've included a version that shows only the shading. I did it separately this time because the high contrast in the fur made it hard to see the shading as I was doing it, so I laid a solid color over it, did my shading, then added it after. x3

The shine on the second-last one wasn't added in, in the end! I thought about adding it, but it felt like it kind of clashed with the cel shading and shapes, so I decided to remove it. x3
Also the changes in the last one were just mistakes I made. I missed that the suit was sleeveless, and the "underpants" were shorter.
