Summary of Art (2021)

Here's my summary of art for 2021, with all of my best pieces from every month! Some months were harder to choose from than others, but I  chose based on a mix of how happy I am with a given piece and it's execution, and notability (eg. my PNGTuber isn't the most amazing piece of art ever, but I chose it for August because it's had a big impact on my life!)

WIPs for Little Runt (Page 72)

Check the thumbnail post to see what I originally had in mind for this page. But otherwise, this was pretty straight-forward. I enjoyed doing the sparkle effects. :3

Originally Nes's "subconscious self" was supposed to dissolve into glowing particles and fly away in the wind, but I decided that that didn't make much sense. That version of himself originally spawned from his shadow (metaphor!) so it would make more sense for him to still stay part of him in the end, but merely change form. That's why in the final page, the particles fade next to his body, implying they joined together once again, but he no longer has a shadow. :3

My family celebrates on Christmas Eve due to my Scandinavian heritage, so I'm going to be busy with that tonight! I wish you all a safe, happy, and joyous Christmas, and thank you to all of you for making it possible for me to give so much back to my family this year when some of them really needed it. There's an above ground parking lot outside of a movie theatre I often went to before the pandemic happened, and I'd almost always stop and take a few pictures from up top on my way in and out of the movie. It didn't matter if it was +40ºC or -40ºC, rain or shine, snow or sun either. This sketch is probably me partly reminiscing about that. :3

This was the result of wanting to try something with drawing arms. Originally I was just imagining him leaning over the edge of a wall, but it looked a little boring, so I stuck his arm out and added some wind to make things a little more visually interesting. :3

(I was originally planning to post a new comic at my usual upload time, but I wasn't sure if I was done with it yet, so I held off for now. I made this to fill the posting gap. :3)
