Ooooookay, I took a little time off to decompress and chill and get my mental affairs more in order. I -think- I'm ready to get back to work on things that need working on. Thanks for your patience, peoples!

2 WIPs and general update

Days are blurring together lately, super sorry for the erratic posting. Anxiety wreaking havoc on my already nearly non-existent sleep schedule.  Still struggling to settle in for what will be the new normal for the next 6 months. 

Trying to find a balance between survival commissions, 2 backlogged pieces, and sanity sustaining personal work.

Today I'm posting the lineart of one of a series of survival commissions as well as a super lewd super rough Evey gape sketch.

I am working, but I am slow. Lots of things to do before my mom starts her Chemo next week. Trying to work and help around the house but also take some mental health breaks playing TotK when I can. (I really want to draw Rauru and/or Mineru)

Took a couple of commissions from a friend to supplement income. Their characters are very unlike any I've drawn before. But it's a good challenge and I think I did fine with the interpretation...also they asked for a giant veiny cock and foreskin t...

Quick Text Post Update

Slowly starting to get back to work...

Mom's surgery went well. Doctor got all visible cancer out, but she's still going to need to go on chemo. She's got a consultation/follow up this week and then we'll go from there. I suspect she'll be weakened by the chemo once she starts, so I'll probably have to help out more again. At least my anxiety is a little more in check and I seem to be able to focus when I do sit down to work.

So hopefully you'll start seeing ...

Yeah, got a couple more things to finish/work on...but that Cult of the Lamb pic was originally just another brainworm idea...but I definitely want to make a continuation of the picture. I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to see some proper action with those characters.

Well, I got my glasses, but that little bit of relief has been massively overshadowed by my mom's cancer diagnosis.

Everything is already set up for treatment and she's having surgery on May 9th. The doctor is hopeful and determined...but I am still an absolute mess. I lost my dad in 2014, I don't want to lose my mom.

Needless to say, my work is the furthest thing from my mind right now...I'm basically just trying to exist until we know more.

I realised that I have a few patrons who are not on my discord so they would not have heard this:

I've been having issues with my right eye for some time now and they seem to be coming to a head as of late. I've been getting headaches that focus in on my right eye as well as some decently severe light sensitivity. Screen time has been cut down to a minimum. I have a few wips I'll be peppering Patreon with as I get through them.

I have managed to see an optometrist and I have order...

Seriously though, this was a brain worm of an idea I got after playing Grounded and unlocking the titular mutation. I had to get it out or I wouldn't have been able to stop thinking about it.

Welcome! I thought I'd make my first post on Patreon someone who I hope you'll see much more of in the future, my precious bat girl, Evey! And with that a bit of a lore dump as well.
