Black hair

I was supposed not to draw anything today as I came back from work after 10 pm, exhausted. Somehow instead of going to bed I went straight to my desk, I might have forgotten what my bed looks like :o

This was photo inspired (@haim_s on Instagram), I saw the photo in the morning in my feed, but didn't look at it when drawing. I have a good picture memory which is both good and bad. All the horrible stuff I've seen is stuck there too!

Quick experiment! I bought my first washi tape yesterday ^-^ I am a little disappointed the pattern can't be matched :( but I like the simple effect it creates regardless.

Sailor Neptune

One of those works where I doodled a random face and realised it looks similar to an existing character :) So just finished it as Sailor Neptune.

The video of this one will show how I tackle bleeding of markers (omg they bleed a lot...) I will throw in some notes for everyone too :)

FAQ #1

One of the frequently asked questions I hear is:
"Why do you/artists use red colour crayon in sketches?!"

Many reasons, I'll try to list a few:

- In digital editing softwares you can simply switch off any particular colour so if more than one is used, like in the sketch above red crayon and black pencil, with one click I can get rid of the red and keep the (let's say) cleaner lines I made after. I can make extra lines, construct the subject, try endlessly making mistakes as long as I...
