Sketch after a lot of struggles.
I'll be recording the Q&A video tomorrow, after trying for a week, it'll be my last take. Pressing record button is a real struggle, I can't say a word… but I promissed, so I'll do it.

I have been in Japan for around a week now, trying to relax and find a way out of a horrible art block. In the end I decided to draw how I feel 😂

I was invited to watch "The Wonderland" before the theatrical release in the US, it's such a beautiful movie 🥰 ! It's coming out in the US soon, on January 31st. Ilya has done an amazing job with all character designs!

Fighting with the jet lag I finally managed to record so the new voice-over lesson will be about leveling up your line art game.

Line art is probably my favorite part of the drawing and I have so much to say about it, like tools and methods I use, effects you can achieve and use to your advantage, the importance of line weight, cleaning it or keeping messy, angles and arcs... I am surprised I haven't done...

Will be about how to draw a manga face. I did a similar one a loooong time ago but re-watching it makes me think like I made it too difficult, so this time I made it a bit more structured and easy to follow. I focused on the frontal view but there are examples of 3/4 portrait too. Using Kanroji to keep it on Kimetsu no Yaiba theme this month :D but the focus is on how to build a good base for any character.
