The Last Avery Girl: Season Finale Part One Release Time.

Hey Family,

It turns out tomorrow's Patreon release might fall later into the evening.  These last four episodes are taking on a life of their own and we want to revisit the mix on this one.  So be patient--just wanted to give you a heads up that it might be evening time before you see your early listen.  Any later than that and I'll make it up to you.

Update on Shirts and other Treasures

So, we have a good problem.  Y'all keep growing. Y'all keep gaining numbers and momentum and being more and more generous---and it's making us have to order more stuff. Specifically maliers and stuff to ship your stuff in that's secure and cool.  Some of the goodies we're shipping out have...small bits that could get messed up in the wrong packaging.  We expect to have most stuff ready to ship right after the holidays.  We might have to do it in timed waves, but expect to ...

Steve's Old Poetry of Appalachia

Hey Famiy,

We've had some requests for transcripts of episodes (and those are coming) and for transcripts of Steve's poems that have served for intros and segments in Let There Be Green and in The Covenant and The Sacrifice.  I thought it might be nice to make these available to patrons.  These come from a collection I was working on a couple of years ago that went on to be one of the inspirations for OGoA entitled Death of a White God.  Anyway, enjoy!

The "Full" version of The Land Unkown (our themesong)

Hey Family,
So Landon Blood (that's his real name) is a buddy of mine  that I know from playing in the Society for Creative Anachronism. We both work on studying, performing and teaching period medieval music. He really liked the idea of the show a year or more back and I asked him to write me a theme song.  I wanted an earworm like The Black Tapes awful opening song, but you know, actually good.  Landon riffed this off, improv-ing the lyrics as he went.  I only used t...

Welcome to Barlo Kentucky, a rotting tooth in the mouth of the holler, but it is in the only molar remaining.  Coal was what they wanted, and coal is what they took. It was coal that started taking us as well. Everyone knows that you don’t climb into the dark earth without her swallowing a few of us whole. Her dark kiss planting seeds of decay in our lungs and blood--you do not take...

S1 - Barlo Kentucky, 1917 - Episode .5: The Witch Queen

This was supposed to be a ten minute interlude introducing The Witch Queen's story but after the surge of love and adoration our Prologue received, we went back in, burned several midnights worth of oil within this one and doubled the length and depth of the episode.  This is actually longer than the "real" first full length episode now. We hope you're happy and proud of yourselves.
