Tried to lock down the design of Melly's face. She's gonna have a short sex scene in the next chapter. Mostly involving her ass. I wanted to make her features sharp to offset soft Alfie. I'll probably go with middle down hairstyle, that morphs into top middle after some hair pulling.

I finally started designing locations. Most of chapter 3 will take place in the forest. Alfie meets Marco in some old halfling ruins. Should be more visually interesting than SOME TENT. I also spent some time trying to figure out the Tolman house floor plan but I am not gonna post that. Because it doesn't make sense and you can't call me out on it if you only see tiny parts of it in the comic. :D

The most repeated criticism of the comic that I got is that you can't really tell the size difference between halflings and humans. Can't argue with that. I fucked that one up a lot. Both the pose and angle choices made it really hard to tell the heights of characters. Also I suck at proportions haha. I made a size reference chart for myself. Spent some time on this guy. It bugs me that his design is way too close to a blonde version of Flynn Rider from Tangled. I am a hack. The way I drew him in chapter 1 really bugs me too. I want to retcon his face a lot haha. I also threw in some Alfie for height comparison. I feel like I almost completly failed to convey the height difference between halflings and humans so far.
