Khonrad - Fallen Warrior
Khonrad's story is an important one. Verdant's society is matriarchal, with women at the top of nearly every office in government and society. Which leaves men at a disadvantage from the get go. Being the leader of an invading force does not improve ones situation in the least. Khronad's story is one of exploration and education. A reassessment of what is most important in his life and the reality that no choice comes without consequences.

Her story displays the consequences of falling afoul of Verdant's laws. Her journey one of a lifetime lived trying to find a better means to achieve. Life is unfair, and Irez understands that better than anyone.

One of the first characters I really wanted to create was the Neophyte. Their story is a complicated one and for me it really helps establish some of the social rules of Verdant. Anehete was born into a male body, but came to the realization that this definition was entirely unsuitable to the truth of their spirit. Her journey is one of self realization and determination, and of finding a means of being herself even within the confines of her societies expectations.
